Under the theme Investing in the World’s Future Energy Value Chain in Africa, AEM for the first time unites the entire mining and energy value chain. This is the only in-person + online event that is entirely focused on Africa, with a whole-industry approach, dedicated to driving investment in Africa’s resources future.
The AEM conference and exhibition will highlight the importance of Africa within the global energy transition with regard to strategic minerals; the Africa Continental Free Trade Area; investment in oil, gas, power and mining plays; and international partnerships and intra-African cooperation across all facets of the continent’s energy and mining sectors. As African energy and mining projects compete for global foreign direct investment and the world looks to Africa to fuel the energy transition, AEM 2022 is the venue to understand the new resource landscape.
AEM 2022 is proud to play host to the highly anticipated Women in Industry Assembly. The event aims to celebrate the role that women play in the energy and mining sectors, and the great contributions they are making in shaping Africa’s future.
ECP believes in the transformative impact of Africa’s resources. AEM 2022 takes on the challenges of the energy transition with panels of African ministers, mining/utilities/national oil company leaders, and the private sector across the continent.
